Damage my vehicle in process of fixing it and then charge me to fix that damage. Typical rip off garage

Mr. Genaro, you had your vehicle towed in because it would not start. It would not crank over fast enough to start due to a defective starter motor. You explained that you had to replace the battery previously due to it giving you trouble. We were authorized to replace the defective starter motor and performed that service for you. After repairs were performed we performed a starting and charging system test, which your vehicle passed. It was the following day that your alternator light came on and you phoned in. We told you to bring it in and that we would double check our work at no charge. You brought the vehicle in at approximately 1:30pm. We immediately looked at the vehicle, again at no charge, and discovered that your vehicles alternator had failed. We tried to explain the relationship of the vehicle battery, alternator & starter motor to you. Describing that driving a vehicle with a bad battery can cause damage and premature failure of not only the starter motor but the alternator as well. You were given another estimate, with a discount in light of the situation, of which you approved. We then completed your vehicle before the close of business the same day. We are not sure what else we could have done to make this situation good in your eyes. You now have a starter and alternator that are covered for 2 years or 24,000 miles, nationwide. If you experience a starting or charging system problem in this time frame do not hesitate to have it checked. Again, if we can be of assistance in your future vehicle needs, feel free to contact us. Made an appointment on Monday to bring my car in on Thursday morning. When I got there on Thursday, I was told I wasn't on the schedule; but that they could squeeze me in. (This was for an oil change, differential fluid change and alignment...i.e., nothing at all tricky, and I brought my own fluids and filter). I told them I needed to pick up the car no later than 2:45 PM, so I could pick my 11 year old up at school at 3:00. They said, "no problem". At 2:45 I hadn't heard from them, so I called to get the status. They said, "You'll be next on the lift". They hadn't even started! I told them not to do anything and that they needed to give me a ride to the shop. I showed up at my kid's school at 3:25...they teacher had to stay with him in the classroom. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice...well, that's not going to happen!

Good morning Tom, We apologize for the confusion on the appointment scheduling. We informed you that we were in the process of changing software companies and misplaced your appointment. This resulted in a scheduling issue. When you arrived to drop off your vehicle your expected completion time was between 2:00 - 3:00pm. You were not sure that you wanted to leave the vehicle at first, then decided you had another vehicle to use and asked for a ride home. We accommodated this request and provided you a ride home. You later phoned in stating that your other vehicle would not start, causing an issue with picking up your son. We explained that this again put us in a position of not being able to complete your vehicle in the time frame you needed. We tried our best to get your vehicle in sooner, but will not remove another vehicle from a lift to make this happen. Other customers were in the process of being serviced prior to your arrival and it would not be fair to them. We are sorry that we could not make this happen for you on this occasion. If you change your mind and wish to give us another opportunity to service your vehicle we assure you a much better experience.
